The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will be performing bridge repairs and maintenance in Jackson County the next two weekends that will require temporary road closures and detours.
#1 – Georgia 15 Alternate over the North Oconee River
Friday, April 24, 7:00 p.m. – Monday, April 27 at 5:00 a.m.
#2 – U.S. 129 over the Middle Oconee River
Friday, May 1, 7:00p.m. – Monday, May 4 at 5:00 a.m.
Detour routes will be marked. Motorists should plan ahead and allow extra travel time during these closures.
