A Jackson County man drowned Saturday in Lake Hartwell, according to South Carolina authorities.
The Oconee County Coroner identified him as Kayden Jabara, 19, and said he drowned in 17 feet of water during the early morning hours while swimming with friends.
Kayden’s body was found about 60 feet from shore about 8:00 a.m. about six hours after he was reported missing.
