(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Georgia Power customers could be getting their share of $122 million early next year.
This, according to officials with the Georgia Public Service Commission, who say state lawmakers enacted a measure to lower the state’s corporate tax rates, with some of the savings being passed on to consumers.
Individual totals won’t be particularly large, however. Georgia Power officials say they expect to be able to pass on at least some of the $2.25 monthly savings per customer starting in January.
