The owner of a piece of property on Patterson Drive reported to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Thursday that someone had dumped a mountain of trash on the land. “The owner…arrived to do some clearing and found a large pile of trash (mattress, couple of TVs, clothing) piled at the street,” sheriff’s office spokeswoman B.J. Williams wrote in an email. “The deputy (who responded to the location) provided a case card and advised the property owner he could dispose of the items as he saw fit.”
A house under construction on Green Juniper Way was vandalized sometime between Sept. 12 and 14, according to a report filed with the sheriff’s office Thursday morning. “A representative for a construction company met with deputies to report six broken windows…” Williams wrote. “Evidence at the scene indicated someone had thrown rocks through the windows. There was no security camera footage available.”
