The state’s latest School Climate Ratings give Hall County Schools a 71.8 score and Gainesville City Schools a 67. That compares to a state score of 78.
The ratings are a state-mandated diagnostic tool that assesses the quality of school climate across four key domains, using data from surveys and administrative records. They are attendance, safe and substance-free environment, discipline, and each school’s own survey.
