Hog Mtn. Rd. residential development proposal headed to FBCC

The Flowery Branch City Council (FBCC) will consider plans for a residential development on Hog Mountain Road when it meets Thursday night involving two pieces of property in the 4600-block consisting of almost 20 acres.

The applicant proposes to rezone the property from AR-1 (Agricultural-Residential) and R-1
(Residential) in Hall County to Single-Family Townhome (SF-TH) in Flowery Branch, according to the agenda. Lots for 75 single-family detached homes are planned.

Also on the agenda: first reading to consider an ordinance to add a definition for Mixed-Use Residential Over Business and add Mixed-Use Residential Over Building.

And consideration of the adoption of the city’s updated Comprehensive Plan.
