From the Hall County Sheriff’s Office and county jail records:
*A hit-and-run accident occurred Saturday afternoon about 4:00 at McEver Road/Gould Road.
*A commercial (non-residential) burglary was reported to have occurred on Old Whelchel Road between August 26 and Saturday.
*A report of sexual battery was received Friday night shortly after 10:00 and is said to have occurred in the 7600 block of Lanier Islands Parkway.
*30-year-old man is facing several charges apparently related to a domestic incident, including Aggravated Assault (3 counts), False Imprisonment, Robbery by Force, Cruelty to Children, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Crime, Simple Assault, and Harassing Phone Calls.
*A 42-year-old man is charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle and a few traffic-related charges.
*A 31-year-old man is in jail on a Hit-and-Run charge as well as several others that are traffic-related and resisting arrest. He’s also being held for immigration officials.
*A 25-year-old man faces several charges including Drug Manufacturing and Distribution.
Additional information on each of these is not likely to be available until local law enforcement administrative offices open Monday following the weekend.
