Gainesville’s Project J.O.Y. will again provide “warm holiday lunches” to local Meals on Wheels clients Thanksgiving Day, but organizers need your help.
Volunteers, all ages, are needed 8:00-12:30 Thursday at the Masonic Lodge on Lakeshore Drive at Dawsonville Highway to cook, package, and deliver the meals to clients and help with clean-up. Deliveries begin11:30.
Due to ongoing issues with COVID, volunteers must sign and waiver and wear a mask. Please do not volunteer if you are ill or have recently been exposed to COVID-19.
