Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will install weekend lane closures on Interstate 85 (I-85) near the City of Norcross to continue a resurfacing project on 16 miles of the interstate from the I-75/I-85 Brookwood Interchange in Fulton County to SR 140/Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Gwinnett County.
Weather and on-site conditions permitting, from 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 30 until 5 a.m. on Monday August 31, three right lanes and the right shoulder lane will be closed on I-85 southbound between Pleasantdale Rd/Northcrest Rd (Exit 96) and Jimmy Carter Boulevard (Exit 99).
