Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies arrested two men early Friday for racing their cars on Queen City Parkway near I-985.
HCSO NARRATIVE :
“At approximately 12:50 a.m., deputies observed the cars briefly stop and then accelerate, heading west. Their estimated speeds were in excess of 70 mph. Deputies stopped both drivers near West Ridge Road and arrested them without incident.
Deputies cited Richard Dennis Florea, 33, of Commerce, for racing on highway or streets, reckless driving first offence and driving with a suspended/cancelled/revoked tag. Dylan Eric Carter Travis, 22, of Gainesville, is charged with racing on highway or streets and reckless driving first offense.
Deputies transported both men to the Hall County Jail. Each was released on bond at approximately 5:30 a.m.”
