The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is still looking for help from the public as the investigation continues into a damage‑to‑property incident at a Piggly Wiggly store in East Hall County Friday.
Deputies responded to a burglar alarm at 2:20 a.m. at the store on Gillsville Highway and found the front glass door shattered. No suspects were located at the scene, and the owner did not immediately report any items missing.
Surveillance video showed what appeared to be a male suspect in dark clothing throwing a rock through the door before running away without entering the building.
The case has been assigned to the HCSO Property Crimes Unit. Damage to the door is estimated at $700.
