HCSO: Motorist arrested with 30 grams of coke

A woman from Marietta who was arrested this week on drug charges following a traffic stop in Hall County was found in possession of 30 grams of cocaine and had been dealing in drugs on her phone, according to the sheriff’s office.

HCSO NARRATIVE:

“(Monday) Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies stopped Katelyn Elizabeth Squier, 31, for a tag light violation in the 3000 block of McEver Road. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies determined Ms. Squier was in possession of illegal drugs, so they called investigators with HCSO’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) to the scene. Investigators found just over 30 grams of cocaine in a baggie in the console of her vehicle. They also found evidence that Ms. Squier had communicated via cell phone about a drug transaction.

As a result, Ms. Squier was charged with possession of cocaine, trafficking cocaine and use of a communication facility in committing a drug transaction, all felony offenses.

Ms. Squier remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.”
