The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) said Monday a 65-year-old Cumming woman died in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday on Georgia 365 just hours after another fatal crash on that road, which the state patrol said Monday claimed a second life Sunday.
HCSO NEWS RELEASE:
“At approximately 9 p.m. AIU (Accident Investigation Unit) investigators responded to the crash at the intersection of Ga. 365 and White Sulphur Road.
On arrival, (they) began investigating the broadside collision involving a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a 2006 Chrysler 300 car. A passenger in the car, Patricia Ann Cooper, 65, of Cumming, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Hall County Fire Rescue transported her to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville where she died. No other injuries were reported.
According to the preliminary investigation, the truck, driven by Brian “Keith” Crowe, 55, of Carnesville, was eastbound on White Sulphur Road and stalled in the intersection at the inside northbound lane of Ga. 365. The Chrysler car, driven by Ronald Dale Cooper, 64, of Cumming, was northbound on Ga 365 when it collided with the passenger side doors of the disabled truck.”
