A 26-year-old Gainesville Gainesville man remained in jail without bond Wednesday morning following his arrest on eight outstanding warrants Monday by Hall County authorities. Robert Kyree Willis was taken into custody following a traffic stop Monday on West Ridge Road.
HCSO NARRATIVE :
“While on routine patrol, a Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputy recognized the vehicle being driven by Willis as one that had fled from a traffic stop at 4 a.m. on Dec. 13, 2023 on Wood Acres Road in Oakwood; Willis had a warrant for fleeing/attempting to elude an officer in that incident.
On Monday, Willis incurred an additional charge of giving false information to an officer when he gave the deputy a false name and date of birth during the traffic stop.
Willis also had arrest warrants stemming from a domestic incident in June 2022 where an adult female victim suffered visible injuries and two children witnessed the incident. In addition, Willis had probation warrants for failure to comply with bond conditions that were granted following arrests dating back to 2021…”
