A Cobb County man is in the Hall County Jail after his arrest Monday afternoon during a multi-agency drug bust in Flowery Branch. The Hall Count Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) revealed details of the operation Tuesday afternoon.
Truc Van Bui, 27, of Kennesaw, was taken into custody in a parking lot in the 5800 block of Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch.
Bui faces three charges in the multi-agency effort, which included the HCSO Special Investigations Unit, Homeland Security Investigations and Georgia State Patrol:
· Trafficking marijuana (felony)
· Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute (felony)
· Possession of marijuana (felony)
Investigators say they seized approximately 18 pounds of marijuana, worth an estimated $45,000 on the street, adding that the drugs were found in the trunk of Bui’s car.
