HCSD In-District Transfer requests; Latest on plans for Mulberry; NGMC’s new cancer surgical procedure

*The Hall County School District (HCSD has opened up the In-District Transfer Request Applications for the next school year; the application period is Feb. 1-March 1. To apply, parents/guardians will complete a Transfer Request Application in the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus. *The Chairwoman of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman is asking state lawmakers to slow down as a bill that would allow for a referendum on creating a new city near the Hall County line makes its way through the legislature. Nicole Hendrickson says plans for the city of Mulberry are moving faster than such issues usually do when up for consideration and is calling for a “more thorough” feasibility study than the one already in the works.
