HCPC: More Browns Bridge Rd. development, Bogus Rd. subdivision

More commercial development along Browns Bridge Road and a subdivision on Bogus Road are among the items on the agenda for a Hall County Planning Commission (HCPC) early next month.

The commission will be asked to approve rezoning of a tract of land less than an acre in size on Browns Bridge Road at Memorial Park Drive from Residential-1 to Highway Business. Salomon Sancen’s application says the proposed use is Retail Sales but nothing specific is mentioned.

The subdivision proposal for Bogus Road is from Seth Barnes and is for a 14-acre site near the Claude Parks Road intersection. He is asking that it be rezoned from Planned Residential Development and Agriculture Residential to Planned Residential Development to clear the way for a 15-lot development.

A third item on the planning group’s agenda is from Rachel Christensen and is for a kennel on 19 acres on Dahlonega Highway near the Kenimer Road intersection.

These items are on a planning commission meeting set for October 7.
