The status of the drought in Hall County is unchanged from a week ago, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor (USDM).
All of the county is considered “abnormally dry,” except that northwest portion bordering Habersham, White, Lumpkin and Dawson counties where conditions remain a bit worse – “moderately dry.”
Most of the state where the drought persist is dealing with “abnormally dry” conditions. The only drought-free parts are found in southeast Georgia and along portions of the Tennessee and Alabama lines.
