Hall Co. records record labor force

Hall County recorded an all-time high labor force of 111,276 in February, according to a report released Thursday by the state Department of Labor (GDOL).

It increased by 618 over the past month and 1,664 over the year, finishing the month at 107,943. That number increased by 600 over the month and 1,537 from the same time a year ago.

Hall County ended February with 109,400 jobs, up 400 from the previous month and 1,100 from the same time last year.

Meanwhile, the unemployment rate remained unchanged over January – three percent. A year was 2.9%.
