Hall County’s administrative offices, courts, community centers, animal shelter, recycling center, libraries, as well as the Hall County Government Family Health Center and UGA Extension Office, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day but will be open Friday. Compactor sites will also be open on Friday but will only operate from 1:00-3:00 Thanksgiving Day.
The Hall County community centers will remain closed through Saturday, Nov. 25. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 27.
The animal shelter will be open 9:00-1:00 Saturday, Nov. 25.
Many services are available online, including the renewal of vehicle tags, payment of taxes, finding adoptable pets and more.
