Hall Co. looking 20 years down the road & wants your help

Hall County plans to launch a series of public surveys in the coming weeks to gather feedback that will guide the county’s growth and development over the next 20 years. Officials said Monday broad participation will be essential, and an Engagement Committee will help ensure surveys and other outreach efforts reach residents, businesses and community stakeholders.

Once the surveys are finalized, committee members will be asked to share them through their organizations, professional networks, social media and other community channels. The county also plans additional advertising and outreach to support the effort.

A virtual meeting will be scheduled in the coming weeks to discuss public outreach strategy and how committee members can help maximize participation. Those interested in serving on the Engagement Committee are asked to notify county staff so they can be included in future meetings and communications.

The county will host a Steering and Stakeholder Committee meeting Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 at the government center.

More information about the comprehensive plan update and upcoming public engagement opportunities is available on the county’s Public Outreach page at Public Outreach page at hallcounty.org.
