With most of what’s left of Hurricane Isaias out of Georgia, Hall County Emergency Management has deactivated its Emergency Operations Center.
The storm is blamed for 30 trees that fell across roads in the county, 14 of them taking down power lines, too. And the county reported weather-related problems with 14 traffic lights as well.
At the time of this report, power outages in the county included:
Georgia Power: 152 customers
Jackson EMC: 483 customers
Sawnee Electric: 102 customers
Habersham EMC: 15 customers
For continuing updates on power outages, check with each company’s outage map which can be found on their websites.
Meanwhile, Jackson EMC says nearly all of its 278,000 customers now have power.
At the time of this report, the remaining outages were in Gwinnett (29), Hall (24), Barrow (7), Lumpkin (3) and Madison (1) counties.
