Hall County came out on top of all the counties served by Jackson EMC in the latest round of grants to non-profits by the electric co-op.
Hall will share in $77,445 allocated in five of the nine grants handed out recently.
They are Good News Clinics ($20,000), For Her Glory ($15,000), Georgia Mountains YMCA ($15,000), YMCA of Georgia Piedmont, Inc. ($15000) and to Oconee Therapeutic Riding $12,445.)
In all, the latest grants that were approved by the foundation’s Board of Directors totaled $122,394.
