Poplar Springs Baptist Church is on the verge of marking its 150th anniversary. The celebration is planned for Sunday.
“This milestone marks a century and a half of faith, community, and worship,” a Facebook posting reads. “The church has been a cornerstone in the community, providing a place for worship and fellowship for generations.”
The celebration includes “heartfelt events that reflect on the church’s history and look forward to its future. It’s a time for the congregation to come together, celebrate their shared faith, and honor the legacy of those who have been a part of the church’s journey.”
