3-month search for burglary suspects ends in Habersham Co.

Authorities announced this week they had been arrested.

“On September 12, deputies were dispatched to 105 Lexington Lane in reference to a burglary that had already occurred.

Upon arrival, deputies took a report of the incident and of the items missing. The victim also provided us with audio and video surveillance of the two individuals that committed the burglary.

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division took over the investigation which led them to Habersham County.

With the assistance of the Clarkesville Police Department, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, a search warrant was executed at a Clarkesville address where some of the stolen items were located. Also located at the same residence were items from five burglaries committed in the Clarkesville area as well as five more burglaries that occurred in Habersham County.

Warrants have been issued for Sarah Bray, age 33 of Mount Airy, Ga. and Bryan Glueckert, age 30 of Clarkesville, Ga. for Burglary and Criminal Damage to Property.”
