Trolley service, street closings for Mule Camp

“Clang, clang, clang went the trolley…” The Trolley Song – Wikipedia

The Gainesville Trolley, which ended its summer service a few weeks ago, is back for three more days for Mule Camp Market, which is sponsored by the Gainesville Jaycees and begins Friday and runs through Sunday on the Midland Greenway.  https://www.gainesvillejaycees.org/projects/mule-camp/

In support of Mule Camp and to help ease congestion in the area, the city is again providing festival-goers with free shuttle service from the Main Street Parking Deck, at 301 Main St. SW, to the festival using the Gainesville Trolleys. Note: trolleys do not stop at the city’s north parking deck, the new one located near the library.

Here is the festival and trolley schedules:

  • 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 (Mule Camp trolley runs from 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.)
  • 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 (Mule Camp trolley runs from 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.)
  • Noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 (Mule Camp trolley runs from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.)

For questions or concerns about trolley service, contact Hall Area Transit at 770-503-3333, ext. 2.

Meanwhile, Gainesville Police say several streets in the vicinity of the Midland Greenway will be closed for Mule Camp: Banks Street between Gordon Avenue and Grove Street and portions of Grove Street between Parker Street and Summit Street.
