EXPLORE GAINESVILLE FACEBOOK POST:
Space Splash Spectacular, where science, water, and adventure come together for an unforgettable day of hands-on fun for all ages!
Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Time: 10am – 1pm
Location: This event will start at “The Sun” on the Downtown Gainesville Square, and end in Longwood Park at Lake Lanier. We will have a shuttle running from Longwood Park back up to the Square, if you choose to walk a one way journey to ‘pluto’, rather than a round trip back to the ‘sun’!)

Event Highlights:
*Explore the Solar System Trail with a special passport booklet, where you will create a ‘mark’ at each planet you visit along the trail!
*Dive into expanded water-themed educational activities
*Experience the Floating Classroom and enjoy exploration on Lake Lanier
*Engage in exciting solar system and water-based STEM activities
