Hall County sheriff’s deputies charged a Gainesville woman with 12 felony counts of transaction card fraud this week for allegedly making unauthorized transactions with the victim’s debit card.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:
“At approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday…deputies responded to a residence in the 2300 block of Birch Mountain Run. They met with the victim, 25, and the suspect, Nathali Martinez, 24.
According to the initial investigation, Martinez used the victim’s card information on 12 occasions on Tuesday and Wednesday for transactions with companies including Cash App and ridesharing services. She made approximately $645 in unauthorized transactions. Martinez and the victim live in the same residence.
Deputies arrested Martinez and took her to the Hall County Jail. She remained there on $68,400 bond at last check.”
