Gainesville has released its 2023 Water Quality Report.
It includes not only information about the quality of the water but also explains where it comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. The report includes data from Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2023, and shows that Gainesville’s drinking water met or exceeded all standards set by the federal and state governments.
The full report can be found at the city manager’s office downtown, the city’s Water Resources Department on Queen City Parkway, and at its Environmental Services Office on Old Flowery Branch Road. You’ll also find it online at 832 (gainesville.org)
