“Our Christmas effort is almost over!
Our distribution wrapped up on December 9th. Thanks to the wonderful and generous people of our community that picked up angels at the trees in Walmart and other places, we were able to give 250 boxes with canned goods and frozen chicken to families along with toys and clothes for 520 kids in need. The Red Kettle is going well also.
We are still short of our goal, but keeping the faith that we will get there. The volunteer bell ringers in Gainesville are awesome – creative and enthusiastic individuals – it is a joy to see them.”
