The only Gainesville Papa’s Pizza to Go, located on Dawsonville Highway, has closed.
“A HUGE Thank You to our customers who have been with Papa’s Pizza over the years,” reads a Facebook posting. “We sincerely appreciate all of you for your continued support. Sadly, we will no longer be open due to new management NOT wanting to properly pay their employees. Once we were paid, they closed the restaurant permanently.
“Everyone on the Papa’s Crew truly cared about each and every one of our customers. Thank you for everything and we hope to still see you out and about in Gainesville.”
The chain has twelve remaining locations in Georgia, according to the company website, including one in Cleveland.
