Gville nearly 3 degrees warmer than usual last year

Back in Gainesville, the NWS’ annual climate summary shows the average daily temperature was 63.8 degrees. The warmest day was June 26 when a high of 98 was recorded at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport. Rainfall for the year totaled 54.78 inches, almost an inch above normal. In fact, each of the reporting stations except Fulton County Airport and Peachtree-DeKalb Airport recorded more than usual.
