Activities associated with this year’s observance of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday begin Monday.

The march itself will begin Jan. 15 at noon from the parking lot at Peach State Bank & Trust on E.E. Butler Parkway. It will end at the Butler Center on Athens Highway, where a rally will be held at 1:30.
