Gville man jailed in ‘video voyeurism’ case

A Gainesville man was still being held without bond Tuesday afternoon following his arrest Sunday in connection with a case of “video voyeurism” that occurred more than two weeks ago at a business in Flowery Branch.

FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPT. NEWS RELEASE:

On 05/12/2024, Flowery Branch Police Officers responded to a business within the Stonebridge Village Shopping Center, 5861 Spout Springs Road.

Upon arrival, officers met with a 17-year-old female who reported being the victim of a video voyeurism incident.

The victim advised while she was in the store, she observed an unknown male using a cell phone to capture images under her skirt. The female sought assistance from a store employee while the male fled from the location. After a thorough and diligent investigation, Flowery Branch Police Investigators were able to identify the suspect as Christopher Todd Woodall, 45, of Gainesville Georgia

On May 14th, 2024, Investigators secured an arrest warrant against Woodall…

Mr. Woodall was arrested by the Gwinnett County Police Department on May 26th, 2024, and later transported to the Hall County Detention Center.”
