Gville man indicted in south Ga. drug case

A Gainesville man is among several people recently indicted in the Justice Department’s Southern District of Georgia on charges that include felony charges for illegal firearms possession and drug distribution.

According to a Justice Department news release, the cases were prosecuted as part of Project Safe Neighborhoods in collaboration with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to reduce violent crime with measures that include targeting convicted felons who illegally possess guns.

,Juan Carlos Rosado, 27, is charged with multiple drug trafficking offenses as are the others named in the case. In all, fourteen people were implicated, including some who have already their cases resolved. Rosado is the only one who is not from south Georgia.
