Gville man faces hundreds more charges in child sexual exploitation case

A Gainesville man arrested late last year for sexual exploitation of children now faces more than
400 additional charges in the ongoing investigation.

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NEWS RELEASE:

“William Landrum English, 23, was first arrested (last December) at his residence in
northwestern Hall County after investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO)
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, acting on a cybertip, executed a search warrant at
the home.

At that time, Mr. English was charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of
children for possession and distribution of a video showing an adult woman engaged in
sexual activity with a minor male victim.

During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized electronic devices for
forensic review.

The forensic processing of two cell phones seized from Mr. English’s
bedroom uncovered 437 images and videos depicting children being sexually assaulted. As
a result, investigators obtained a warrant for Mr. English’s arrest (last week). HCSO
Warrant Service Unit deputies arrested Mr. English at his residence on Monday…

At this time, Mr. English remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.”
