A Gainesville man who is charged with murder in Forsyth County and was arrested in New Jersey a few months ago has been returned to Georgia. Loron Spaulding had been in the Hudson County Correctional Center in Jersey City since April.
Spaulding, 35, is charged with killing Diaja Benson, 30, Dawsonville, whose body was found March 13 near Lanier 400 Parkway in Cumming. Benson was reported missing in Dawson County February 20.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office jail roster, he was booked June 7.
