Gainesville and Hall County officials have announced what services will be available, and which ones won’t on Labor Day, which is next Monday.

All administrative offices will be closed
Frances Meadows Aquatic Center will be OPEN
As no garbage or recycling will be picked up Sept. 7, solid waste collection will be delayed by one day for all City customers. Monday customers’ garbage will be collected Tuesday, Tuesday customers’ garbage will be collected Wednesday, Wednesday customers’ garbage will be collected Thursday and Thursday customers’ garbage will be collected Friday. Please be sure to set your garbage and recycling at the curb by no later than 6:30 a.m. to ensure collection.

HALL COUNTY
The administrative offices, courts, community centers, animal shelter, recycling center, landfill and libraries, as well as the Hall County Government Family Health Center and UGA Extension Office, will be closed.
Hall County compactor sites, as well as essential public safety and public works personnel, will continue to provide services as normal.
As always, many County services are available any time online at hallcounty.org, including renewing a vehicle tag, paying taxes and finding a new pet.
