Both Gainesville and Hall County high school graduation rates improved this year over 2025, according to data released by the state Department of Education (GDOE) Monday.
The Gainesville system graduation rate improved from 93% to 95%. The county system went from 88% to 90%. The county system’s North Hall High School was tops among all high schools in the two districts: 97%.
As for the two non-traditional high schools in the two systems, Gainesville’s Horizon Academy scored an 85% and the county’s Lanier College & Career Academy, a 74%.
The state graduation rate this year was 89%, up from 87% last year.
