Gville child porn suspect facing 60 additional charges

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:

“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators have charged a Gainesville man this week with 60 additional counts of sexual exploitation of children in an investigation that started in 2022.

(HCSO) Warrant Service Unit deputies arrested Cameron Dakota Dove, 27, on Tuesday morning, Feb. 13, at his northwest Hall County residence.

Investigators obtained the new warrant on Monday, Feb. 12, for images and videos of child sex abuse material found stored on Dove’s computer and cell phone. The latest counts are the result of completed forensic processing of electronics seized during execution of a search warrant at Dove’s home.

Tuesday’s arrest is the culmination of the HCSO and Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigation that began in December of 2022 when investigators received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Dove now faces a total of 66 counts of sexual exploitation of children. Additional charges are not anticipated.

Dove is being held without bond in the Hall County Jail.”
