Gainesville officials said Tuesday night they’ve learned of signs along Jesse Jewell Parkway fraudulently advertising pick-up locations for the Gainesville Trolley.
This bogus signage was erected at various locations including but not limited to Budgetel Inn and Suites, A-1 Driving School, Golden Corral and the former site of O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar – areas outside the regular Gainesville Trolley routes.
With every seasonal transit service involving the Gainesville Trolley, Gainesville Shuttle and Holly Jolly Trolley, the City publishes information via its official website, gainesville.org, outlining hours and days of service, and routes with turn-by-turn directions and maps: https://www.gainesville.org/754/Gainesville-Trolley
Also available on gainesville.org is the online Trolley Tracker, where you can view the trolleys’ or shuttle’s current locations in real time: (Trolley No. 1: Glenwood/Riverside) https://cloud.samsara.com/o/7002712/fleet/viewer/8xffDuCDWUjAeNMAVVrw, (Trolley No. 2: Dixon) https://cloud.samsara.com/o/7002712/fleet/viewer/QkvM4gQ7dlGZhMo5oZSZ and (Gainesville Shuttle) https://cloud.samsara.com/o/7002712/fleet/viewer/VxdUEp4vpG9iotznb4HW
