A 43-year-old woman if free on bond after being charged with shooting her husband Friday night. Scarlett Lee Ford, 45, was booked into the Hall County Jail about 1:00 Saturday morning.
“Domestic dispute,” Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook wrote in an email Tuesday in releasing details of the arrest. “Ford allegedly shot her husband in the shoulder with a pistol. The couple were allegedly intoxicated at the time of the shooting. Husband was transported to NEGMC (Northeast Georgia Medical Center) in stable condition.”
Capt. Holbrook said the incident happened in the 4200 block of Weeping Willow Drive about 9:30. He added that the motive was unknown.
