Bond has been set at $26,650 for a 27-year-old woman who is charged with attempting to bribe a Gainesville police officer. Tina Marie Ross is also charged with trespassing.
“Officers were called to the Salvation Army, where Ross was refusing to leave,” police spokesman Kevin Holbrook said. “Ross had previously been asked to leave by staff, which she refused. Ross (was again asked to leave but again refused) at which point she was arrested.”
“During the transport to jail, Ross attempted to offer $3,500 to the officer for release,” Capt. Holrook added.
Ross was booked into the Hall County Jail about 8:15 Thursday morning.
