Gainesville’s Memorial Day Parade is next Monday, and the police department (GPD) has released a timeline for road closings for the 10:00 event, announcing that they will begin around 8:00 a.m.
The parade will, as usual, begin near the intersection of Green Street and Ronnie Green Parkway and proceed south into downtown before dispersing.
“Please plan ahead, use alternate routes, and watch for pedestrian traffic,” the police department advisory says.

Center)
