A man who was a patient at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) has been charged with sexually assaulting a hospital employee, the second such incident at the hospital in as many days.
Reginald Durgea Cooper was booked into the Hall County Jail about 5:30 Monday afternoon. “Victim was an employee at NEGMC,” GPD spokesman Kevin Holbrook wrote in an email. “Cooper was a patient that grabbed her inappropriately multiple times.”
Cooper is charged with Sexual Battery and Public Indecency.
On Sunday, Francisco Leyva-Duran was also charged with Sexual Battery in connection with a similar incident. He was also a patient at the time.
