A Gainesville man has been charged with kidnapping after he allegedly stole a car from a northside pharmacy with a child inside it.
GAINESVILLE POLICE DEPT. (GPD) NEWS RELEASE:
“On July 7th, police responded to the CVS on Jesse Jewell Parkway for a motor vehicle theft.
Police were advised an 8-year-old child was in the vehicle at the time it was stolen. Moments later, the vehicle was found within a short distance from the scene with the child safely inside.
During the investigation, police obtained warrants for Ashon Isaiah Fussell, 18, of Gainesville. Fussell was arrested on July 8th on kidnapping, theft by taking and shoplifting charges.”
