Get ready for ‘sticker shock’ at the pump

Georgia gas prices are likely about to rise just over 30-cents-a-gallon.

The increase comes as Gov. Brian Kemp’s suspension of the state fuel tax comes to an end tonight.

Kemp first implemented the latest round of suspensions in September but has no plans to ask lawmakers for an extension during a special session this week.

The legislative body would have to approve any extension.
