It’s primary election runoff day today as Georgia voters head to the polls to vote on key federal, state, and local races ahead of November’s general election, including hotly contested Republican runoffs for governor and U.S. senator.
What kind of weather can voters expect as they head out? A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4:00 p.m., according to the weather service. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 77.
As usual, polls will close at 7:00 but anyone in line at 7:00 will be allowed to vote.
And 7:00 is when you’ll be able to keep up with returns as they come with our link to the Secretary of State’s Office. Not only will local results be available but those of all counties in the state.
