Graduation is scheduled Friday night at City Park for Gainesville High School seniors and Gainesville Police have begun preparations for the event.
“The areas of Green Street, Thompson Bridge Road, Glenwood Drive, Riverside Drive, Park Hill Drive, and all other side streets in the area (will be affected,” a GPD Facebook posting says. “Expect road closures in the area around 3 PM and increased pedestrian/vehicle congestion.”
Gates open at 6:00 for admittance to the ceremony.
