The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has awarded a contract for a roundabout at a key intersection in Habersham County.
The site is the Georgia 197/Georgia 385 intersection. The work will also ìnclude a Video Detection System “to enhance traffic monitoring and operations,” accordingtoaGDOT news release.
The contract calls for the work to be finished by Sept. 30, 2028.
